Biography

Jeffrey Reece graduated from Logan High School in 1999. After graduation, he spent two years in Russia living and working with the Russian people. He learned to love their culture and found his time in Siberia very fulfilling. He feels the experience provided him with excellent preparation for his academic career.

Jeffrey is currently a junior at Utah State University majoring in economics with a minor in Russian. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Collegiate Scholar Association, the Institute of Managerial Accountants, and the National Dean’s List. He is attending USU on an academic scholarship while working full-time. Upon graduation, he plans to work for a consulting firm before attending graduate school to pursue an M.B.A. His research interests include identifying principles of organizational effectiveness, applying principles of lean/six sigma manufacturing, and understanding the process of change management.

His interests include rock climbing, mountaineering, long-boarding, kayaking, and reading. He and his wife, Kathleen, reside in Logan, Utah.
