George’s responsibilities as executive vice president at Zions include primary oversight of the bank’s commercial and consumer loan portfolios, and management of the loan officers. He also oversees the operation of Zion’s full service branches throughout the states of Utah and Idaho. In his former position with Zions, George was responsible for 14 different departments including branch banking, internet banking, marketing, property management, and bankcards. Zions First National Bank is Utah’s oldest and largest financial institution. It is also the only local bank with a statewide network of branchs.

George was formerly the president and CEO of Nevada State Bank, an affiliate of Zions Bancorporation. He has also held various other positions with Zions Bank, and Valley Bank and Trust.

He received a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Utah.
