Preston has served Merrill Lynch Bank USA as president, CEO, and board member for the past 13 years. The bank is a Utah Industrial Loan Corporation with offices and subsidiaries in five states. Merrill Lynch Bank’s services include credit related activities in the small to mid-size commercial market, paper back-up facilities, asset backed financing, mortgages, bankcards, letters of credit, CDs, and MMDAs.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Preston gained extensive experience in senior management positions at banks in both Utah and Arizona.

Preston holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, and he is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. He is currently the treasurer of the Utah Bankers Association. Preston previously served as a board member and the president of the Utah Association of Financial Services.
