Steven Ostler has spent almost 30 years working and consulting in the field of Human Resources working with organizations to assist in accomplishing their desired results and objectives specifically in the fields of Organization Planning, Design, and Improvement, Operations Management, Management Planning and Development, and General Human Resource Management.
Steve is currently the Director of Employee Relations and Staffing, Human Resource Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has also functioned as the Director of Human Resources for the Family History Department and Temple Department for the Church.
For five years prior to that, Steve consulted with both large and small organizations both locally and nationally. As a consultant with a number of Fortune 100 corporations he focused on organization design and planning, building high performing teams, management assessment, and leadership training. He also spent time working with small local organizations in operations management, business analysis and acquisition, and real estate development.
Previously, he spent 10 years working internally with Procter and Gamble and Warner-Lambert and functioned in several capacities including Organization Planning and Development, production management, and Human Resource generalist.
Steve has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Organizational Behavior from the Marriott Graduate School of Management at Brigham Young University.
