Jesse is one of the founders of Adaptive Path, a recognized pioneer in the user experience field. Practitioners around the world depend on the tools and concepts Jesse shared in his book, The Elements of User Experience, which was released in 2002. He is also a founder of the Asilomar Institute for Information Architecture, and he frequently presents and writes on information architecture issues.
