Employee Involvement – The fuel for Improvement Results

During his thirteen year career at Autoliv, Clay has worked for the firm in multiple capacities. He currently manages Autoliv’s Airbag Inflator Research & Development / Prototype operations in Ogden, Utah. Autoliv Automotive Safety Products is a 2003 Recipient of the Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing.

Clay earned both a bachelor’s degree in aerospace and an MBA from Utah State University. He is also a student of the Toyota Production System and serves as a Shingo Prize Examiner.

Clay will discuss why you must obtain employee buy-in, and the elements of a successful employee involvement plan. He will show you how to design, implement, and achieve results from a kaizen system, and he will provide examples of how you can overcome obstacles to achieve success.
