Robert is an audit senior manager in Ernst & Young’s Banking practice located in Salt Lake City. He has served a broad client base throughout his career at Ernst & Young, including financial services, energy, and manufacturing. Robert’s focus for the past four years has been solely in banking, serving several Top 50 U.S. bank holding companies and Utah-based industrial banks, among other insured depository institutions. He has managed various projects to assist management in its preparation for compliance with Section 404, including process and control identification, documentation, and testing.

Robert also serves the Pacific Northwest Area of Ernst & Young as a member of the audit methodology and attestation consultation network. In this capacity, Robert has provided assistance and consultation to various engagement teams and clients in their implementations of Section 404 and FDICIA. Robert has also led various internal training courses on understanding and documenting processes and controls.

Robert holds a B.S. in accounting and a master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
