Mike Bowcut serves as the Director of Direct Marketing and Analysis at REI, the national cooperative providing high-quality outdoor gear and clothing. REI is recognized as the nation’s premier specialty retailer of outdoor gear and apparel, as well as being cited as a retail “best practice” by Forrester Research for its seamless multichannel approach.
Mike’s responsibilities at REI include circulation planning and execution for REI’s direct mail program (including catalogs and retail flyers) and email marketing program. He is also responsible for statistical modeling, database marketing, and customer and web analytics.
Prior to joining REI, Mike served as Director of Direct Marketing at American Girl and Manager of Quantitative Analysis at Lands’ End.
Mike is a graduate of Weber State University and received a Masters Degree in Applied Statistics from The Ohio State University.
