Jeremy Hanks is an entrepreneur, leader, and founder of several successful technology companies. His most recent venture is Doba, which he co-founded in 2002 and currently serves as chairman. During the past 5 years, Doba has grown over 8,000% under Hanks’ leadership. For 2007, Doba was ranked No. 23 on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing privately held companies in America, No. 1 on the Utah 100 list of fastest-growing companies in Utah, and No. 6 on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 list of the fastest growing technology companies in North America. Jeremy was listed on Utah Valley Business Q's “Top 40 Under 40,” was recognized as an Outstanding Young Entrepreneur by Connect magazine, and was listed on the v100 list of Top Venture Entrepreneurs by vSpring Capital.
Jeremy is also an accomplished author and speaker. He is the coauthor of eBay Inventory the Smart Way and Drop Shipping for Dummies. He is regularly interviewed and quoted in eCommerce and entrepreneur focused publications such as Entrepreneur, eCommerce Guide, Practical eCommerce, Connect, and Utah Business. He is a three-time returning guest speaker at eBay Live! and has spoken at Shop.org, Online Market World, and the Internet Merchants Association conference. He is also a member of the advisory board for the Rollins Center for eBusiness at BYU.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in business management from Brigham Young University in 2004, 12 calendar years after he enrolled as a freshman in 1992. He is an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys hiking, backpacking, climbing, and mountain biking. He lives in Lehi with his wife Amy and their two children, Kaitlin and Alex.
