Tim Brown is president and CEO of iTOK, LLC, a global technology and solutions company for broadband service providers.  Mr. Brown is also the president of Wasatch Technology Consultants, a Utah-based business strategy and execution management consulting firm.  Tim has more than 18 years of experience across a variety of industries including telecommunications, financial services, and information technology.  He has significant experience in strategic business planning, technical architecture, implementation, and operations management.  Prior to iTOK, Brown was CTO and SVP of Operations at Mstar – a DLS ISP and the dominant “triple play” (voice, video, and data) service provider on the UTOPIA and iProvo fiber-to-the-premises networks. 

While at Mstar, Brown led IPTV implementation on UTOPIA’s network; launched triple-play services on the iProvo network; and built MSTAR’s business sales, internal customer care, and engineering organizations.  He has also overseen the development and rollout of several core residential and business products.  Prior to MSTAR, Brown worked for Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, a business strategy firm. During that time he created and executed strategies with businesses in the US and abroad including AOL, Time Warner Cable, Visa USA, Visa International, US Cellular, and The Standard Insurance Company.  Mr. Brown began his career as a high school mathematics and computer science teacher in Colorado.
