John played a major role in the development of Schwan Food Company’s audit department. He was also instrumental in establishing the company’s risk assessment process, and its Sarbanes-Oxley compliance procedures. Previously, John was an internal auditor in industry and an external auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
John graduated from Robert Morris University with a bachelor’s in business administration, and he earned an MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
| John will highlight how the current business environment is struggling with the need to have strong, active, and clearly defined relationships among corporate governance, internal control, and internal auditing.
