Dr. Grange joined the faculty of Utah State University in 1983. He is the Director of the Tax and Personal Financial Planning Programs in the School of Accountancy. He is also a financial planning practitioner, and he has served as a member and chair of the Board of Examiners of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and as a member of that organization’s Board of Governors. He is a Registered Representative and a Registered Investment Advisor Associate. He is currently the president of Grange, Swensen & Adams, a financial planning firm.
Professor Grange earned a bachelor’s degree at BYU, a master’s in accounting at Utah State University and a Ph.D at the University of Texas at Austin.
He has previously worked as Assistant Instructor of Accounting at The University of Texas at Austin and as a Staff Accountant for Price Waterhouse & Co. He has also operated his own tax practice as a CPA.
