Tax Update – 2002

Mr. McCleary is a senior manager in KPMG’s Salt Lake City tax practice. He has 14 years experience working in public accounting. His clients range from large multi-national corporations to small closely-held businesses. He has frequently taught classes on the taxation of corporations and S corporations as well as courses on mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. McCleary has a bachelor’s in accounting from Brigham Young University.

He will discuss various tax code changes that have occurred over the last 12 months, and significant rulings and court cases that have been published during the same time frame. He will explain how recent tax code changes could potentially impact taxpayers, and result in significant savings or losses of tax dollars.
