Comprehensive Financial Planning: How the CPA Generates the Best Plan for the Client-A Coordinated Approach

Mr. Gordon supports a firm of over 120 registered representatives and astute financial planners who design sophisticated estate, business, tax, and investment strategies for affluent individuals and business owners. Working in alignment with Lincoln Financial Advisors, he utilizes a team approach to design custom financial plans that address client goals and objectives. Mr. Gordon is motivated to become one of the best in the financial services industry.

He has influenced the industry for almost a decade, through client education and by teaching courses for the CFP® designation. Mr. Gordon frequently teaches college courses in finance, business, and business law. He is also the acting President of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Utah Chapter (2002-03).

Mr. Gordon holds both the Chartered Financial Consultant, and the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. He is also a Registered Securities Principal, and has several other securities licenses. Mr. Gordon is an active member of the Utah Bar Association and other law associations.

He completed a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, with an emphasis in business and humanities, and he has earned a JD from the University of Utah. Currently, Mr. Gordon is pursuing an LLM from the Washington School of Law, specializing in taxation.

His presentation will focus on financial planning. He will discuss the Financial Planning Association and current developments in the field.
